The decor is country elegance, featuring heirloom antiques and quilts. We have four guest rooms available, each with its own personality and decorated to create an enchanting ambience.

Sherry is available in the living room during the informal evening social gathering.

Glacier View Suite

Snuggle under a handmade quilt in a 200-year-old Martha Washington four-poster bed. The spacious suite has a magnificent view of Kachemak Bay, Grewingk Glacier, and the Kenai Mountains. The private bath sports an old-fashioned, footed Victorian tub. Decorated in colors of apple and rose with handmade pillow throws, canopy, dust ruffles, and curtains. A honeymooner's hideaway.

Northern Lights Room

Bathed in lavender hues of the aurora borealis, furnished in brass and oak, and topped with granny's quilt, this room is the crow's nest of the canyon. The porcelain chamber pot is for effect only, but the antique rocking chair awaits late night readers. Semi-private bath is adjacent.

Garden Room

Reminiscent of a Victorian basket of fresh flowers, this cheerful room has a southern exposure. Tinted Alaskan photographs create a turn-of-the-century atmosphere. Decorated in burgundy, black and cream with homemade bed covers, curtains and lampshades. Semi-private bath is adjacent.

• Twin beds

Kachemak Room

Furnished in antiques from Homer's homestead era, this room has an oak-floored sitting area overlooking magnificent Kachemak Bay and a playful cubby space with its own porthole to the outside. This spacious room is best for families wanting to share the same room. Decorated in colors of cobalt, forest green and rose with homemade bedcovers, curtains and pillow throws. Private separate three-quarters bath.

• Three single beds
• Futon or crib available for children
